Default How to select TV card on TV3.

First of all a big thank the development team for a great software. I just got the latest TV3 and SVN (16362) installed and its runs great.

I just have a problem with my TV cards, one Floppy DTV and a Hauppauge Analog PVR500, on MP I use to watch live with the digital card and use the 2 analog tuners for recording. As far I can see I don’t have these options on TV3 and it just chose the card randomly.

I was asking this question in another thread http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/tv...6.html?t=30016 were Marcus was helping me

I hope there is a way to get around this as my tv picture is much better on the digital card and i prefer to have it running like this.

Best regards

Lars

as long as the card uses BDA drivers then should pick up without problems, especially if worked when just running media-portal. I know when i setup tv engine it automatically detected my card (HVR-1300) and setup both analog and digital without problems, and done it better than media-prortal by itself

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.

Yes it would be the easy way to get another tuner card but then i will also have the problem get another Selector card from my operator to be able to watch the coded chanals.

I think all the time i been using MP before the TV server i was great to have the options to select tuner card so the few shows i recorded was on the analog card, but all my live tv was digital.

I changed to the TV engine so i had the suptitles wish i didnt had without the TV engine, so is a æittle give and take as i only use it as a single seat setup.

Is there any plans in the future to get the card selection options back ?

Regards

Lars
