First question then, you're using a server/client setup, have you tried how the singleseat goes?

perhaps you can give a small description why its not 10/10 for you.

So something like:

- I miss feature xyz
The motor positioning still does not work with my Skystar2 card.

I am using server/client setup. If I am using singleseat it works better but sometimes tvserver freezes.

Try to change codec to MPV Decoder filter. Before I was using the Descaler codec and it caused me problems when changing channels - just an idea?

perhaps you can give a small description why its not 10/10 for you.

So something like:

- I miss feature xyz
- not stable (crashes or not always working 100%)
- It is stable, but some things dont work (like some particular tvcard does not work)

And also it would be nice to know if this is based on the current SVN version or not.

Frodo
1/10 for me, totally unusable. I know it's going to be awesome but right now it runs bad on my setup. SVN from 14/2 but I'm going to try again today.

- Never in AV sync (every other app is, including old MP TV system)
- Client crashes when scanning bad reception channels/good channels/someone coughs

There is a post in support.

9/10 for me.
Still running a single seat, but will convert some of my other MP pc's to the server version soon, then I will have multiple back-end and multiple front end.

The 9/10 is only since a few days. Before that it was 5/10 due to struggling with renaming channels.

I'm a happy user now.

9/10. Was running single seat until yesterday. Now installed a new client so running two clients towards the server. All is above expectations.

Channel swithing times are;
* the client that is on the same host as the server = 1 sec
* client on my second pc = 1-2 sec

Exclamation

Hi Frodo,

here is my last test wit today's SVN.

It comes from a singleseat config.
At first I have changed channels about 40 times, it was OK.
After that I have made 2 scheduled records and waited until both of them started.
After that I have deleted the running records.
TV picture freezes. I have to close the MP.

After the client restarted there is no TV stream. See the attached tvserver logs.
