Import tvguide.xml using tve3 ?

Hi, ive done some unsuccessfull research on how to use an external generated tvguide.xml file with my setup.

Using a spanish program i get the tvguide.xml with 7 days of information, its prepared for mediaportal.

however i dont know how to make mediaportal read it. when i go to guide within mediaportal i get it empty until the tvtuners get the info.

how can i make it use the file information instead?

do i have to install it in the server where the tuner is installed or in the client? or in both?
