Country: | Hi I've been looking for a web remote for some time, but haven't been able to find something that does what I'm looking for. I've got MP running on an HTPC, which is hooked up to my stereo. I like to play back my mp3's from this machine without having to go to the HTPC to control this. So I'd like some sort of remote for this. Currently, I use VNC to control the HTPC, but I find it a bit cumbersome to navigate MP over VNC. I've noticed some Pocket PC remotes that sound like they could do the trick - is it in any way possible to get this to work on my PC, maybe by using an emulator? Also, there used to be a web interface for MP which seems to have been abandoned a while back. Is there a status on a new version? I've seen a couple of mentions of a replacement being in the SVN, while other claim that the project's been abandoned. I hope you guys can help me Thanks in advance |

| I am looking for the same thing - just found the Pocket PC app which im going to give a go in a min - i was a bit gutted the TV Client didnt allow you to change channel as that would be ideal! Be nice to have some form of remote config also, like renaming channels and such? |
