MCE remote key mapping to delete item

I would like to be able to map a key on my MCE remote to delete a video from "my videos" while in the list view. I have tried mapping remote buttons to "delete item" and "delete selected item" neither of which do anything. Any ideas? TIA!

The "0"-key is by default mapped to "Delete", see keyboard mappings in Configuration. Some of the keys on the MCE remote, like numbers and arrows, acts like a keyboard.

I use it frequently in recorded TV, and also in My movies.

My 0 key takes me to the top of any list... I don't see any specific mappings for any of the numbers in the mappings buttons under the MCE remote.

Du you have an original MCE remote?

Can you delete files by pressing 0 on the keyboard?

Open Notepad and try the number-keys on the remote. The numbers should be entered into Notepad. The arrow-keys should move the cursor.

The number-keys are not mapable under "Remote", "Mapping".
For mapping see "General", "Keys and sounds", "Global actions", "Remote button x" and verify that the REMOTE_x actions corresponds to the right key.

Under "General", "Keyboard shortcuts" you can see the connections between keys and function.
