can someone tell me why vobsub starts but hides subtitles when playing movie in MP.
Is there some special option to set ?

in other player vobsub loads and subtitles are shown...

Hi,

I have fallowed the The_Stig "Tutorial: Playing .mkv-Files" and everything works great with the exception of external subtitles.

With WMP the external subtitles work.

Could you please help me?

Sorry, forgot to mention that works ok with .avi files...

I have the same problem.

External subtitles (Movie.avi + Movie.srt) are not displayed in MP, in Windows Media Player it works. VobSub and Haali Media Splitter are installed (latest versions).

Add the vobsub filter to the external processing filters in myvideos configuration.
then it should add itself to the graph.

Any idea on how to force Greek font to work in vobsub? I have added vobsub (and selected Greek codepage) in post-postprocessing but as soon as I play i revert to default font in vobsub.

i think something changed in 1.0rc1

this are my settings:
CCCP codec pack. Autoload vfilter disabled
Haali splitter: autoload vsfilter disabled
mediaportal: added directvobsub postprocessing

in 0.2.3 : everything works fine and are showed as configured in vsfilter properties.

in 1.0 RC1. subtitles are shown, but the vsfilter properties are not used. It uses a different font/color/size.
in this case, if i change font color and size inside mediaportal configuration, the color and size changes, but the charset is not ok..

regards
