New user asks: Can I watch IP streams already?

Hi,

I installed TvEngine 0.3 wednesday evening. I'm impressed!

One question though: I added a network stream as a "channel". But when I try to watch the channel, MP complaints that it cannot timeshift ("No tuning details").

So I guess tv over IP is still in development?

p.s. I tried to search the asnwer to this question in the forum, couldn't find it.

Edit: I'm not new to MP, just new to the TvEngine.....

This feature is under development. What do you see, is the first part of it, that was added a few days ago (Tuesday 11.Sept. 16:51).
So you have to wait one or two more minutes

Hi,

I am waiting too - or should it work meawhile ?
For Radio stations it is working for me. Could it be possible to switch automatically to the internet station if the same station on the dvb card cannot be played - eg. due to a current recording. This woud eliminate the need to have the same stations e.g. WDR2 radio (one from dvb card and on internet station) in groups.
