Default No S2 - HD channels found in channelsearch

My problem is that the TV-Engine doesn't find any S2 (HD) channels when i do a channelsearch.

Then i read this:

http://www.satpro.se/detailes/detail...art_nr=6335606

They basically say that this is the only CAM module (that they have at least) that works with mpeg4, HD channels.

Is this correct, do i need a special CAM module för mpeg4, hd ? And if that's the case, is that why i can'd find any S2-HD channels ?

Correction: i can find the Canal Digital HD channel but i think that they're using mpeg2 currently. Or at least DVB-S.

Ok, turns out that i do get all DVB-S2 (HD) channels in the technotrend application. And i had a chat with a guy at another forum and he's using the same CAM module (Conax 4.00e) and tv-card (TT-S3200) as i do and it works just fine. That's in DVB-Viewer though.

Still nothing in the TV-Engine. Anyone here that might know what the problem is ? Is this even supposed to work currently ?

I just selected the satellite, in this case 0.8W Thor 2/3. Exactly the same as i do with the Technotrend application.

But you're on to something, perhaps it's just the transponder list that's missing the transponder's that i need. I'll try to update the satellite list and if that doesn't work add one of the channels manually.

Nope, that's not it. Checked lyngsat and the correct transponders are available in the list for Thor 0.8W.

I also noticed that it get's a "No signal" on these specific transponders.

You have to add mudulation type for the dvb-s2 transponders

For example

19=11434,V,25000,8psk,2/3

Thanks jaobr, that solved the problem. I changed these lines in the 0.8W Thor2_3.ini file and now it works:

21=11421,H,25000,8psk,23,S2
22=11434,V,25000,8psk,23,S2
