| Portal Member | The ClientCheck.exe pings the clients and if it get an answer it starts ClientActive.exe and when it doesn't get answer anymore it kills ClientActive.exe. The server do I start with the wolcmd from the first post. Yes you dont need PsExec anymore. /Juppe |

| Portal Member | Hi Juppe, sorry for the slow reply, i just didn;t have time to try this. However today i did and it works great, using my laptop as client the server stays awake until the laptop is shutdown. This is exactly what i was after and i really think that this should be incorporated into the powercheduler plugin as its function is so crucial to the client/server setup. Great job! Cheers m |

| Portal Member | Thanks for the reply mdsflyer. The part that wake the server from the client already exist as a plugin, but I think that it should start as soon as the client starts, so you dont have to start your self. I also think that the part that keeps the server alive should be in the powerscheduler plugin, I'm not that good at C#, but if anyone want's to put it in there, I can put the source code in here. /Juppe |
