@chemelli "where is the CBR settings ? I can see only VBR values in the code"
If you look at the function SetVideoBitRate(min, max, vbr); the last bolean parameter tells whether its VBR or CBR.

Martin,

@chemelli
I have SetVideoBitRate(8000, 8000, false), I think its only using the first parameter when you choose false, but anyway I just have both set to the same value

It will ignore the second value if vbr is set to false.

diehard2,

is possible to have a parameters that will permit to choice between VBR and CBR and the mix and max values instead of recompiling everytime the source ?

Hi chemelli,

I'll eventually get around to this, but its not trivial and I'm very limited in my time right now.

I had the same problem when trying to set it to 12 Mbits. However any setting up to 10 Mbits works for me.

I've tried without success to configure using GraphEdit. It lets me set the new values, but each time I close GraphEdit and open it back up it reverts back to a default of 5000 CBR. Anyone have any ideas I could try? TVE3 is working awesome except for this one small thing.

eh Funny! I had the same same request for the same reason SOME time. When the audio bitrate was set to (128?) I was getting audio artifacts. Diehard was kind enough to increase it to 224 for me which fixed the problem. I wonder why it happens to some and not others?

Can someone tell me how to "manually" increase the bitrate?

I have gotten myself a new HTPC, and with PVR-150 the values i set in graphedit will not stick - like it did with my 350!
