Country: | Hello, I'm new to MP and like to try out the TVServer. I see daily SVN bulids and I am not sure, which version I should use. Can anybody recommend a revision to me, which has the most probability to be useful ? Thanks, Markus |

Country: | 18080 seems fine with DVB-T, next svn's have a filter issue. So to test, use above version for both Mediaportal svn and TVE3 downloads

Country: | Hello Ray, thanks for your fast response ! I installed the svn revision you mentioned and configured tvserver. Channel searching, etc. went OK and the server is up and running. Now I installed MediaPortal (current release revision 0.2.3.0) and try to connect it to the server, but I do not mange to do this. In MP configuation under Television-> TV Client all entries are grayed out. How do I tell MP that it should connect to my TVServer ? I searched the doc and forums and got no answer on this simple question, so sorry for asking again ! Thanks, Markus |

Country: | Again, I agree with PD. The version he recommends is the best one in recent times. And yeah, it sounds like you haven't installed the plugin as well as the server. |

Country: | Answered my question for me I haven't used TV Server for a few months now, was looking to give it another go. Looks like 18080 is the release to test for now... ![]() |
