Subtitle hell with Greek font

Hi,

I'm trying to show Greek subtitles, both with normal .xvid movies as well as .mkv movies.

I have configured as follow:
-ffdshow with no subtitles enabled
-haali splitter with auto-load VSFilter
-Added DirectVobSub in media portal movie post-processing. Selected Greek font as default in VSFilter.

With this settings, English works perfectly with both xvid as well as mkv, but Greek is shows garbish since the font is changed to Western for a reason I can't understand!

Watching the same movie using Graphedit, everything works perfect!

Versions:
Haali splitter - 1.7.401.3
DirectVobSub - 2.38
ffdshow - rev. 1355 Jan 18 2008

Any advice highly appreciated!!!

After changing the language to Greek under the advanced language tab in XP, everything works great.
