Subtitles

Hi People can someone please tell me how I can add subtitles to my MP videos sections. All the videos are AVI and I'm not sure how to add subtitles. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have ffdshow installed you can add ffdshow raw filter to Movie Post processing in MediaPortal Configuration. Then be sure to have a subtitle file in the same folder as the video file. When playing the video in MP you should see the ffdshow notification area icon. Right click it and enable Subtitles.
