Question TV-Server and stability (Can my wife handle it?)

My wife loves MP. The way it is now (0.2.1.0) she can watch TV, schedule recordings, listen to radio/music etc.

BUT what will happen if I choose to begin using this TV-Server, will it be like it always has, or are there big changes in the way things work.

So my question is; will the WAF in- or decrease with the new TV-server at this stage?

I can live with a bit of fiddeling, I actually find it kind of funny , but she...no..

If stability is critical I would recommend sticking with 0.2.1.0 until there is a stable release with the TV server, but I guess you knew that already.

Well, tried 2 explain, but heres for the ones who didn't get it :p

So let me refrace:

If I start using TV-Server.
- will the average user (like my wife )notice the difference,
- will the average user still be able to use MP like today.
- are most of the changes "under the hood" or are the GUI very different as well??

LOL.....good point :-)

The new server works great, for the most part. However, keep in mind that it is still very much beta, and should be treated as such. There will be bugs and your wife might not like having to restart MP when such a bug occurs. If your wife just wants to watch TV and gets unhappy when "all your techno gadgets start acting up" and she misses her favourite soup, then you might want to wait with switching a little while longer.

Unless you enjoy the peace and quite of sleeping on the couch j/k ;-)

Don't you need the recipe plugin to keep track of it?
