Thats not a fair answer considering he wasn't asking for support. He was merely asking if anyone has been successful at doing it.

I have TV Server running on WHS ( server 2003 ) very well and i am aware that it's not supported.

Whenever we ask a question regarding a non-supported OS, we get swamped with the usual " blah blah blah is no longer supported by MP ". Thats all well and good, but give us a chance to hear what "other non-supported OS users" have to say.

( i had to get this off my chest ) :-)

If you try to install 1.0RC1 and up on Windows2000 you get a STOP. So you will not even be able to install...

If you try on Windows2003/2008 and WindowsXP 64bit you get a warning that those OSes are not officialy supported by the team.

The installer gives an stop error? hmmm that's not correctly designed, I would like to suggest a normal message like "This OS is not supported" like vvulture mentioned.

But thanks for clarify things!

Hi vecnar,

I have changed nothing . Installed my tv card drivers and it all worked 1st go.
I did have reception problems which were caused by having a signal that was too strong.
Apart from that, all went well...

cheers.

Hi vvulture,

Thank you for your reply. I have a few more questions.
Are you running on windows server 2003 service pack 2 or 1?
Is it stable with all svn builds?
I was able to get everything working on xp using the same computer.

Well to be technical, i am running Windows Home Server ( WHS ) which is based on Server 2003 but is infact an OS of it's own.
I am running SP2 for WHS ( i don't think it's the same as SP2 for Server 2003 ).
As far as stability, i am running RC1 with weekly SVN 18951 and system is very stable. I will only update again when RC2 is released, and finally when final release comes out.

Do your tuner cards actually tune ? Do you see a progress bar ?
Maybe your cards do not work properly under a 2003 environment.

Apart from the tuning problem, is everything else working ? Can clients connect, watch videos, etc etc... ?

let me know

by the way... did you apply the DVB FIX ( patch ) ?

If not, see this : [Patch] Multi DVB Tuner Issue and channel-scan crash - Windows XP
It may help.
