sorry but that discussion is a waste of time.

the decision is clear. no wpf/xaml at this point.

note: MS MCE SDK is allowing you to use wpf/xaml. but the whole VISTA MCE GUI as delivered with the OS is not using it.

Clearly the base gui vista of mce is mcml
Plugins can mcml or xaml be made in vista mce

if you read my post again, you will see that we are ofc talking about VISTA MCE itself and not about what plugins devs can use......

Great news about MP II !!

Are there any plans to build MP II platform independend that you can run it on Linux and Mac too?
Will it be possible to support MP II clients for Linux and/or Mac or will it stay an only Windows application?

What a step in the right direction. When this is done.. I plan on building a new pc or 2 for streaming pc content, DVR, etc via HDMI using Meedios or Mediaportal... wichever is best.
