Exclamation

Music, picture and movie Folders are visible in different sections...

...all my music and picture folders are visible in my movie section?!?

After adding folders to one section (music or pictures) it's not possible to add other folders e.g. to movies and all folder I've added to music where also visible in movies?!?

While adding folders it's crashed a few times :-(

I feel it is important for everyone to realise that any problems described in here are problems informing the dev's on anything they may be unaware of, no one is moaning at them !

Excellent point EViS...
Do the Devs want us to report bugs at this early stage?

Default .net?

question is .net still required, i tried this at work on my computer but it wont load anything, and i presume its because this computer doesn't have .net installed?

jup, i agree with evis and gixxer.

Would be good to know if the community here should report bugs at this early stage,
or not...

i can agree with gixxer's list at most points:

- caused my taskbar to disappear, too

- cant select usb external drive, too

- cant select network drive

- when in weather the onscreen keyboard looks wrong AND sometimes there is no Data being loaded
when opening the weather task a 2nd time...

- No Close Button in Fullscreen...

- Few Crashes when selecting Drives/Folders...

- PiP mode isn't running smooth at all....
( System: Vista 32Bit, AMD Athlon X2 5200+, GeForce 8800GTS, 4Gb DDR2-Ram )

and so on...

But like already told, it's a "PRE-Alpha" and so this is kind of absolutely normal *smile*

So it's very cool to see how things are going on, getting a sneak preview of
what the future of mediaportal is going to be like
So, Thanks a lot @Devs for sharing this to the community

I really can't wait to see a final release next Year

i think bug reports are a little useless at this stage of development. things are changing so fast, and already in one week the whole thing could look different, what means bugreports etc would be meaningless.

so i for myself would say: no bugreports at this point. we already know 99% of the glitches.

btw, in order to run mediaportal2 you need to install .net3 framework
