Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post
Country: | Since TV is still in the future for MP2 I thought that now would be a good time to make this suggestion. I recently had a problem with MP1. Somehow the TV database got corrupted. Even though the database included all the channels and programs, it only showed the programs for one channel and claimed that there was 'no data' for the rest. Whatever. Stuff happens. The only way to fix this was to delete the TV database and start again. Of course, I lost my schedules, the details for any recorded shows, and my channel mappings. Not exactly the most 'user friendly' experience. My suggestion ( hope, plea) is that the MP2 developers will be able to figure out a way to prevent, limit the damage from, or gracefully recover from this type of problem. In your spare time see what you can do about world peace. When a program requires a database for a large part of its functionality, a broken database means a broken application. Blackheart |
