Run before movie start

I have 5 Sony VGP-XL1B firewire 200 disc changers and a massive initial cataloging effort to do. I have a command line utility to control the changers.

What I require is plugin for mediaportal that would run a command prior to playing a selected movie.

With this plugin, I need to be able to execute a unique command line stored with each movie (example: mediachanger.exe load Slot038 Changer0).

Anyone know of the plugin i'm looking for? Is this already included in the basic mediaportal?

Hi,

i think you have to make it yourself.

My idea is that first of all you make a small program with AutoIt. AutoIt is free, basic like and you can create standalone executables with it. Afterwards you can create a dll plugin from this exe with MultiShortcut.

Documentation is included for both tools.
