i am very interested in purchasing a touch screen for my setup.
Can someone recommend various types of small capable monitors, and some ultra mini pc's to go with this? Ideally, i am looking for a front end client soley for audio . THANKS!! jW

I have a touchscreen as well in my case and it was the deciding factor to build an HTPC. I never could justify building a device that required the TV to be on to listen to music. Ebay has cheep cases 300 and under... touchscreen HTPC dominance is a near future reality. When looking for HTPC software I ended with mediaportal for a bunch of reasons, but I several times started looking again because of how impossible it is to navigate with a 7" touchscreen. I ended up squeaking through by modifying the basic home screen to have better placed and bigger icons. Using the tiny arrows in the music screen is enough to make my friends want to smash it though.
MediaPortal is awesome, but the sad reality is that I will scrap it in an instant for a touchscreen friendly front end with even half the functionality. I don't even use a TV tuner, so I don't care about the recording and playback engines for it. |

I know what you mean. The car front ends tend to be more geared towards cars as well. I used to use media engine I think and centrafuse in my car computer before I found prebuilt in dash systems to be so much easier, reliable and user friendly. I spent more time fixing that stupid carputer then I did using it. I have had a double din touch screen with all the buzzers for 2 years now and will never go back.. It's so much easier.

Hi...
I would like to see the same feature as i Meedio. In configuration you could check "display control arrows". That enabled up/down arrow for navigation inside Meedio. This must be very easy to implant i the gratest HTCP frontend ever made.... :-) Tazman Edit: Damn you guys... its already there... i was to fast!!!! GREAT STUFF!!
