Default update-function

Hey,

I want to ask for the updatefunction in the new mediaportal.
Are there ideas how to realise it?
I would suggest a update function that won't only check if there's a new MediaPortal version, but if there are updates for the installed skins/plugins, like it is integrated in "Firefox". That would be a very user-friendly possibility.
Of course there have to be a option to activate/deactivate this updatefunction for every MediaPortal-launch. And a option if the updates should be downloaded and installed automatically or manual.
