TV Card Driver: Vista built-in(none directly offered) MPEG2 Video Codec: Gabest MPEG2 Audio Codec: Gabest Satelite/CableTV Provider: Comcast My AVC-3610 will not add channels in TVServer. It gets to Channel 2 and then nothing happens, but the lights on the device flash as if it's still doing something (it's a USB tuner). It works just fine using mediaportal client without TVServer. I've also tried manually adding channels and previewing and I get an eternal hour glass. The FusionHDTV Lite I have also has issues adding channels (can't find any). I've got Comcast cable which uses QAM256, but I'm not sure which setting to pick (HRC+3, HRC, IRC, etc.). So I'm not sure if this part is my fault or not. I couldn't find anywhere to add QAM channels in MediaPortal w/o TVServer, but the bundled FusionHDTV software is able to tune channels just fine. Any direction would be very appreciated! Country: | elph, The DVICO FusionHDTV card doesn't work with QAM in TVServer. They have a proprietary tuning method they haven't shared with us so I can't help you out there. I suggest a Hauppauge HVR-1600 or 1800 As for the Adaptec device this should work. Can you retry with SVN and then post you TV.Log after a full scan? DMAN

Country: | Bummer about the FusionHDTV. With regard to the AVC-3610, the posted tv.log is what I get when I try to do a scan. I let it sit scanning channels for about 8 hours, and that's what the log looked like. If you need more information, please let me know. |
