Here's a funny one, I've been watching the debate about technotrend budget cards with default cam having problems, noticed that it had been fixed so decided to throw a spare one into my tv server.

Running manually from the tv server manager, trying to start time shifting gives me an error, no audio or video detected. Media Portal is trying to use the technotrend, I can timeshift on the Hauppage tuners but NOT with the technotrend fitted.

I am running latest drivers etc.

please try re-registering tswriter including a reboot

I did try rebooting, several time. I even moved the card to 2 other PCI slots, removed, re-installed the drivers, tried with the hauppauge tuners unplugged, nothing I did would give me audio or video with the technotrend fitted.

I've taken this card out for this evening but will try it again tomorrow. FYI,
as soon as I started up the tvserver with the technotrend removed everything started working as it should.

I'm very impressed with the TVServer3, I've been testing it since 14th December, I install the latest SVN each morning, I think you Media Portal guys have a winner on your hands and I'll be making a contribution to the team.

Have found that I have a tswriter log with technotrend related use included. Is this any help?

Have a very stable system, 2 hauppauge nova t, usb 2 tuners and an analog card so we can still watch old VHS tapes.

Added a technotrend budget card, scanned for channels, no problems at all.

Trying to start timeshifting with this card gives an error, no audio or video when using the manual control panel in the TvServer manager.

Additionally, attempting to preview a channel in the channel list gives similar error.

New logs attached include reboot, attempt to timeshift to a variety of channels, all unscrambled and all working perfectly 20 minutes ago without technotrend, note that the only timeshift that worked was on the analog card.
