Hi,

I've been using MP for little over 3 years now, always in the former Multikabel area. On June 30, Ziggo (new name, same provider) changed something on their end, with the result that all TV channels had to be re-arranged. While before June 30, I was able to receive 30+ channels, now I can only find 4-5 at most.
I've entered the channel # and frequency as listed by the cable company. I've also entered some channels using the channel # only.
In both cases, I get only snow.

Anyone?

Hi Sderuiter,

ziggo user here (formerly casema). I have had no problems with the switch. I also have a MCE500.
Did you do by any chance an upgrade to a new driver version for your hauppauge? For me this didn't work: drop outs and snow, so I reverted back.
I only have the channel#, 0 for frequency, I select antenna instead of cable (cable never worked for me: no TV channels found).

Hope this helps,
k.r
Ruud.

LOL!

That did the trick! Don't know why I never tried this.

Thanks!

Thumbs up

Thx for the tip! I did my scanning normally on cable setting but the channel numbers were all weird (200+ numbers). But when selecting antenna I get the actual channel numbers located on the Ziggo "zenderoverzicht"
