Default ATSC Channel #s don't match

I was able to get my TV Card to work properly by switching to Windows XP, however the problem I am having within media portal is that the channels are pulling based on their Digital Channel #s rather than the Virtual Numbers that are used when tuning directly from my tv or from Windows MC. Due to this the guide not not working properly being it does not match the channel name to the station #. Is their a way to change this so that Media Portal will identify the channels by the Virtual Numbers?

Here is a thread outlining the channels for my area:

Hi and welcome to MP

Not sure whether helps but try, MPconfig\television "select channel by index", untick.

Cheers

Oh well. I just renamed the channels and mapped them to my guide so I will just learn the new numbers.
