Country: | Hi ! As subject says, I have implemented the possibility to change audio tracks on DVB channels. This now works when tsreader is chosen. U need current SVN of MP tvplugin Tve3 ..in other words, it all. To try it out; while wathcing fullscreen; F9-language-pick a language hit "A" = cycles through audio tracks. The preferac3 is still being obeyed, so is the chosen language as setup in mp setup. Todo; Persist the currently chosen audiotrack for later use. When re-visiting a channel where u have specifically chosen another audiotrack, then this audiotrack will be automatically chosen for u - thus ignoring the preferac3 and language preferences. preferac3 and lang. prefs. should only be used when the audio on the channel hasnt been changed by the user. Fix audio track selection on myTV recordings. There u cant choose soundtracks. The same as above should apply regarding persisting chosen audio track. have phun. /Gibman

Country: | Hi, i was not aware that audio track switching was broken with TVE3+TsReader For me it works quite good for quite some time. I don't think that it's a good idea to remember the audio track for a channel since (at least for me) the audio stream selection is based on the content (some movies=AC3 (5.1) normal TV NO AC3) and not on the channel

It wasn't even implemented ![]() Until now that is. The only thing that tsreader did right was choosing the first found ac3 track if preferac3 was enabled. This might be the thing u r seeing gemx ? ex. On a Disney Channel with 4 x mpeg1-layer2 audio tracks to choose from, u r then screwed - u always end up with track one. In my case this is always swedish. Changing audio didn't do anything in the tsreader. I've verified this is now working in both singleseat and multiseat. /Gibman

- prefer AC3 / do not prever AC3 - user is able to set prefered audio language(s) (maybe three) - user can then manualy change the audio stream, but this would be needed on realy rarely, as the prefered languages would make the language selection automatic - selected language stream shouldn't be saved on channel basis as the streams can change between programs

| Hi Before this new implementation "audio track " change was not working on multisite using the old "Tssourcer" with single site was working I think is good to save the "audio track " made by the user. I have some chanels that I always prefer to lissen in a selected language, Specialy in movies channels. Iosu |

Country: | Funny b/c I was never ever ever ever ever (phew) able to change audio tracks one bit in both single or multiseat when using tsfilesource. U can define the default behaviour regarding what audio track to automatically choose for you. In fact these settings are rather old - but it ins't until now it is working in a more broad way. u can define language and preferac3. Check MP config settings on myTV plugin. And yes, I still happen to favour the approach where we persist the last chosen audio track for each channel. This value should then always override the default settings as described. /Gibman

Country: | I'm using only the basic MP without server/client. How can I change the audio track on AC3 streams (e.g. Discovery HD, I don't know polish which is the other AC3 stream apart from English). I tried altering the APID on the DVB-C config, but it does not work ... Help please... ![]() |
