Before whinging about problems, I just want to say upfront that this obviously going to be completely amazing when its finished. Fantastic work guys.

I do however have some problems for now that I don't get with the standard TV interface. My server has 2 Nova-T PCI cards that have been running fine as a GB-PVR recording setup for the last year. My client PC also has a Nova-T PCI but runs Mediaportal.

For this setup I stopped the GB-PVR service on the server and configured the MediaPortal server as per the Wiki. The client was backed up and the client plugin installed. I configured the client on entering the software and it connected without issue. This is all with yesterdays SVN.

I experienced two main issues.

1. The audio and video were out of sync 100% of the time on live TV.

Obviously this doesn't happen in the standard TV engine, I'm not sure what is causing it. My initial concern that it was Reclock was unfounded, removing it made no difference. It is out of time when it starts and appears to be about the same amount out all the time, audio just behind pictures.

2. It takes about 2 minutes to crash.

I don't think the server part is crashing here, but a few blips in the DVB-T service is enough to cause the client to become unresponsive. In fact, it copes appallingly with any kind of service interruption.

Perhaps both these issues are caused by the awful Freeview reception I get, but the non client server version actually copes far better with this. Any advice you can give would be really appreciated.
