Hi, I have problems with watching HD channels. I can tune them, but when I open preview in TvServer Cfg, I have only black screen and no audio (the same in MP). If I look at graph, the live1-0.ts.tsbuffer reports 1440x544, 0bits for video and 48KHz 0bit for audio. In original SW from KWorld I can see the HD channels.

What decoder is shown on the graph?

it was ffdshow. But in MP I've tried both coreavc and ffdshow without any success. In the ffdshow in the info page it does not show any info about the input stream. Is it normal, that the live1-0.ts.tsbuffer reports 0bit?

I suppose that the TV server builds another graph to receive data from TV card. Is this true? I cannot see it in graphedit.

Update: Just yesterday I noticed, that I can hear audio on one of the two channels, but still no video.

I'm not sure what the 0bit is about. Where do you see that?

There isn't another graph. With DVB cards, the transport stream is taken straight off the DVB card and written to the hard drive. The beauty of all digital.

Where are you setting the codec. In MP config? Make sure you're setting CoreAVC for h.264 only.

I notice you've got a 780G chipset board. Maybe take a look at your Catalyst drivers too. They can be problematic.

Maybe post a screen capture of your graph.

Now I can see one of the two channel with Cyberlink PowerDVD 8 H.264 decoder. Neither FFDshow nor CoreAVC works. The CoreAVC did not connect in the graph, FFDshow connects, but does not recognize the video. I think it is due to invalid video type, that is reported by the tsreader on the video pin.

When switching to the second channel, it mostly shows only first bricked image and nothing more, the bricked image is freezed. Sometimes is plays the video, but not very offen.

Hi,

HD channels work on my system only with the decoders delivered with my TV card: MainConcept
All other decoders I tried (CoreAVC, ffdshow) gave me similar results as yours: black picture with or without audio.

So its mainly seems to be a codec problem.

Flip.
