blank screen when playing DVD

Hi,
when I try to start a dvd (ripped dvd) file from harddisk I only get a blank screen and no Audio.
This function has been lost somwhere between RC3 and now, because it was running well before.
please have a look at my log, I already tried reinstall pdvd and some codecs but this does not seem to be the issue.

could it have something to do with VMR9.

Do you have checked "use enhanced video"

I don't know that setting.

Actually I am using EVR, but yes it seems that I have an issue with VMR9, now, because I cannot use it anymore for TV,, get a blank screen there aswell.
What can I do if so?

I still have this VMR9 issue, the DVD play thing was only related to files from Harddisk, adn this was due to the fact that the network share was not mapped anymore.... I know.... really dumm.... but well, these things happen.

Anyway, there seems to be an issue with vmr9 on my system, but I have not been able to fix this.
