I have the same problem. Managed to make it work if I'm using dshow player.

EDIT: Worked like a charm, but I'd prefer to use BASS for music, though....

Agreed, would also like to use BASS player! I hope someone will look in to this problem later on.

Well... new problem: When using dshow the mms-stream worked - but no other did....

So - no way to play mms AND other types of streams with MP???

Perhaps using VLC plugin? If so: How?
