Hi, I have two schedules for recording today both has start recording but one does not have the .ts file (only the .xml file is created)... Both tunners are on, on setuptv.exe "manual control" I can see both tuners recording..

also I have check the tv.log I don't see nothing stranger, please check the tv.log and find "AFTER THIS:"

Another check is is on tswriter.log the BAD recording finish with

Hi,
The change in build 19275 was only a dvb-t list change & should not cause that, or did it come in earlier?

This is the first time that I have this problem since... the beginig of testing MP 2 years ago....

I have check the svn logs for tswriter.. since build 19229

- Add PTS/DTS patching when header is splitted on multiple ts packets.
- Remove PES containing discontinuities to avoid some codec crash.
- Fix ( try again !) Radio not starting on first tune.
- Fix potential blocking situation during file duration reading.
- Fix ts packet continuity counter check.

so you think that any of the above changes has made the recording to fail? have you check the logs?? is strange that for Tvserver the recording was in working but there where not .ts file...

Ok, since you wrote the SVN number i was sure you meant from that specific.

From your log(TV.log)

You could test the old TsWriter.ax before those changes if you see this problems every time you record,
Have had som rec tests on both dvb-s & dvb-t without problems after, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be any

Yes I did already with old Tswriter.. NO problem... with new I get the same problem but not always :-( so is no allways reproducible..

Stupid question, but after the 2nd recording fails ( pmt not found ), is the 1st working and is live tv working ? or all is dead ?

Normally the changes done in TsWriter applies after pmt is found !

1st is working and live tv working... only the second is Fuc...... up, but after a second try on second recording is ok...

Any idea where is the problem?

I just posted a similar experience for build 23rd-05-08 (see SVN thread)
I have seen occasional missing recordings for a while - to be honest I've always seen this to a greater or lesser degree for all versions of MP and was ignoring it // often it is the dvbt card/driver that is borked so not strictly an MP issue - and besides I got used to the thrill of discovering if I had a good recording or not .
However, on this occasion I made the effort (!) to check out the logs and noticed it looked odd - so I provided the feedback.
