Cannot launch TV server config

TV-Server Version: 1.0 RC2
MediaPortal Version: 1.0 RC2
MediaPortal Skin:
Windows Version: XP SP3

I have just installed MP 1.0 RC2, but the TV server configuration fails to start. I get the attached error at start-up.

I once received this error when the TVService did not completely shut down on a previous attempt.

If you go to Control Panel; Administrative Tools; Services and then look at the status of your TVService. If I recall correctly, it just stayed as "Shutting down".

Press Control-Shift-Esc (or whatever way you normally use to bring up Task Manager). Select the Processes Tab. Select TVService and click on EndTask.

Try again to start TVServer Config. It will ask you to start the service. Hopefully, if it was the same scenario as mine, it will now work.

I reinstalled TVserver and the problem went away ??
