Cannot scan Dishnet channels

i have been messing around with this for about 3 days now and i cannot get tvservevr to scan channels.. i have read the documentations and watched the videos and still nothing.. i have searched this forum and dvbn and i know ppl are able to scan dishnetwork but for some reason i cannot.

my setup as stated above. Hauppauge nova-s plus. which is connected to 3 lmb (110-sw1, 119 sw3, 121 sw4)with a diseqc switch.. tvserver sees the card. i set transponders to 110, diseqc to level1AA and scan. and all i get it 100% signal level and 0% quality. each TP it trys scanning comes back with no signal. i know that the card is working because i can scan and watch tv with progdvb and mytheatre. but for some reason tvserver is not getting a signal. i have tried every conbination of setting in tvserver ex. diseqc=none, level1AA, level1Ab, level1BA, level1BB, simpleA, simpleB and with universal band type.. i cannnot get anything.

Did you have any luck resolving this?

Try scanning with the diseqc removed. Just in case it is related to switching problems. Leave all the settings as is (as if diseqc were connected) and retry.

well since then i have moved and i only have access to Bev nimiq 1 for now. but since then there as been alot of changes with tvserver. i have no problem scanning channels. but i do have no video/sound problems when changing channels.

Well, if I could get just Nimiq2 to work I'd be happy since that's where all the HD channels are. The problem right now is that with the LNB I'm using channels are getting picked up erratically from either Nimiq1 or Nimiq2 and I have no way to control MediaPortal's scanning of Nimiq2 only. If there was a software way to control the voltage of the SW42 inside the LNB, I'd code it feed it back to Dish500 Twin LNB users out there.
