I copied the FiresatApi.dll to the MediaPortal directory (and TvServer dir, I don't know if this is really necessary). After restarting everything, I went to MediaPortal configuration - Remote - FireDTV, I activated "User FireDTV receiver" and under Receiver: I selected "FireDTV BDA Tuner DVBS2". The FireDTV remote control application is also running. But in MediaPortal itself, nothing happens if I try to do anything with the remote. What am I missing? I appended the logs with "Extensive logging" enabled in the FireDTV remote options.

Country: | Sorry for asking, but what IR receiver are you using ? The FireDTV (external box) has an IR receiver, while the FloppyDTV (at least mine) as none, and there was no remote bundled either... Lorenzo |

Country: | Actually the FloppyDTV has an IR Receiver, but it's unusable without the FloppyDTV Extension Kit (there is a hole for the IR Receiver). The remote is bundled with the Extension Kit.

Country: | please check the following : open the floppydtv remote programm and press buttons on your remote. If the "status" symbol goes green while pressing you do have a working remote. To use it in MP you have to close (shut down) the FloppyDTV remote program, otherwise it will not work Joe |
