If restarting tvservice.exe solves the problem, then apparently its there in tvservice.exe. However I can be wrong.

Thanks! Will try this today in the evening and post back.

@Sique

I tried playing with the client, however, apparently, since I am using composite input from my card as a channel in the media player, the same cannot be viewed in the mptv client. Any ideas as how do I get them working in MpTVClient?

On the other hand, do we have any workaround for this? One thing that I tried out was: stopping tvservice.exe and starting it back. This worked, the error got away.

Can I configure a key on the remote such that a batch file can do this automatically? Sorry if I sound noobish... but matter of fact I am.

Thanks
~LT

If you try using VLC as a client on another pc It works fine, even from an analog card. You can connect to a live stream from the tvserver even jump back and forwards. So my gess is that there is some problem with MPTVclient.

You can try it from VLC by open network stream and choose RTSP and type in tvservers IP adress an Stream1.0 or stream2.0 example "RTSP://192,168,xx,xx/stream1.0"

Nothing to do with #1479.

misterD is our analogue guru - I seem to recall him saying that it would require some bigger code rewrites in mpfilewriter c++ libs.

This bug is now fixed, can someone with latest svn confirm please? Or will it be applied in RC3?

You can find latest svn here MediaPortal and TV-Server 1.0 RC2 svn-builds - MediaPortal Forum, but you need to have RC2 installed first.

Thank you for doing the test.

I guess I am missing something/ may be I don't have permissions. However I don't see any download links.
