Since a few days I'm experiencing very annoying stutter and freeze problems when watching TV. The problem only occurs with scrambled (but decrypted using Conax Cam) channels. Funny is that I didn't have this problem before a week ago, nothing much has changed since then.
Anyway, the problem seems to be that the tsWriter encounters continuity errors constantly. I don't have to start MP to reproduce the problem, I can simply use the Preview button in the TVServer setup. The preview "only" stutters, in MP the image and sound simply freeze after a few seconds.
The problem with continuity only occurs when watching encrypted channels, the few fta channels do not show any continuity problems whatsoever.

I've been searching the forum and found a few topics that seem to relate to my problem, but I can't find any solutions. Can anybody tell me what the cause of this problem might be and what could be done to solve it?

I've attached the tvserver logs that are generated when previewing channels in tvserver setup. The errors in the error.log are probably not related to my problem (but I'm not sure)

Thanks for any information you can give me.

Ike.

Default

Hmm,

After reinstalling the FloppyDTV drivers (same version) and getting the TVServer to recognise the card again (which took a while) everything seems to be running fine again. Only a few discontinuity errors in the first minute, but after that it's been running smooth for quite some time.

Still have no idea what the problem was, suggestions are still very much appreciated as I like to know exactly what's going on rather that relying on a system that magically fixes itself.
