TV-Server Configuration is working fine, TV-Channels are found, but MP does still not start!
Installed SP3, .net 2 und 3.5 , It keeps crashing...
I attatched the Logfiles, I hope you can help me solve my problem .

Sorry, my english is not that good...

Sorry nothing in logs to indicate a problem, but it does indicate that you used the Wizard at some point, that may be the problem, as it does not work.

The only thing i can recommend is uninstalling mediaportal itself and select delete settings, reboot to get anything out of memory and then reinstall.

Before you do anything else, could you please download and install latest svn build from here http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/me...19158-a-40133/

Install mediaportal first and then the TVServer, this will ask at this point if you wish to delete server setting, choose no.

Hopefully after this you will be able to open the config files.

Regards

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.

This did not help, sorry...
To list what I have tried:
- Installed RC1
- Deinstalled it
- Installed 0.2.3
- Deinstalled it (same problem)
- Reinstalled RC1 (with svn)
- Deinstalled all codec packs...
Still not working...
I even cleaned the Registry every time...

Maybe this it's helpful to say that it always crashes while splash screen says "loading language"

Did you manually delete these folders

C:\program files\team-mediaportal\mediaportal
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal (may be a hidden folder)

you need to delete the other if it exists, as i said not sure whether it is a hidden folder, so with a folder window open you need to select under folder options "show hidden files and folders"

Hi,
No crash detected in Win event or application log, so it's a bit weird.
Try once more & attach the logs again.

Regards
Roy
