I have a 20" dish pointing to Nimiq 82 and Nimiq 91 with a Dish 500 Twin LNB:


This LNB is internally equivalent to a SW42 and responds to the same switching commands as an SW42. Unfortunately, I have no way of making this work with TVE3, as it is not the standard DiseqC. I would like to make it work by trying one of the following "hacks":
1. Using a modified INI transponder list to pick up all the channels from both Nimiq 82 and Nimiq 91.
2. Writing custom switching code for TVE3 to send the right switching commands to the LNB.

I'm not sure solution 1 will work, unless someone has successfully gotten it to work. I would like to take on solution 2, as I imagine it will be beneficial to others that are using the same LNB, however I have no idea where to start looking in the code and how to implement SW42 switching code. I'm sure with some guidance and a push in the right direction, I can at least attempt to code it.
