Hi All,

Here's the deal.

I can get the TV server installed and I can get the client installed and it seems to see the server as it says the TV server and Database are both connected.

Weird thing is I can't "turn on the TV" and I can't change channel.

Seems to be able to record tho.. or at least claims to be recording.

I can look at the TV guide that I am getting from D1 as well but when I select the shows it just seems to lose the plot and I get no picture, no sound and no joy.

Any ideas on what I could be f*cking up ?

In my mind, you have more than one networkinterface on the serverside and tvserver uses the wrong one, to stream out video/audio. Have a look on

http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/TV-...ming-Multiseat

And check for firewall-troubles, too....

Hi Kuehne,

I neglected to mention that the TV Server and the Client are all on the same machine.

I do have multiple network interfaces on the box but all but 1 are disabled.

Any other ideas ?

Also... does anyone know how to remove the Compro software for a DVB-T300 if the Add/Remove Programs option hangs using 100% of the CPU ?

Could you specify the following a little more?

Have you checked what IP address the server is using under the tvserver configuration page, often defaults to something other than your computers network IP

Cheers

ok after testing, problem appears to be with mediaportal frontend, if I open the Tv Server and Preview a channel, It plays fine and will start Timeshifting in there If i Do Manual Control, However
If i go back to mediaportal, It fails to show anything

about installing .NET 3.0

Worked for me
