DVB-S2 doesn't find Premiere HD

Hi all,

I have a problem with scanning the TV-channels.
I found all HD-channels correctly but I am missing Premiere-HD. Any idea?

TV-Card: Hauppauge Nova HD-S2
TVEngine: 15792

Here is my tuning-file:

I have a similar problem, i can't find any HD channels now after i installed my Floppy DVB-S2 card.

..25000,8psk,23,S2 worked on the TT card (S-3200 POS) but not on the Floppy. I'm going to try with and without the "Enable DVB-S2 tuning features" when i get home from work today and see if it makes a different.

Might add that i haven't got the values for pilot and roll-off but i've tried with on,0.35, didn't work either.

Unfortunetly not. Pretty fast channel switching with that software though.

I'm using the Hauppauge Nova HD-S2, so it should work with the "Use DVB-S2 scanning features", right ??

I have a FireDTV-S2 and I can find Premiere HD and Discovery HD, with Mediaportal, but with Mediaportal, I did not manage to find SAT1 HD and PRO7 HD.
I can find these two channels with the supplied Appliaction.

Did you use the right sat settings?
I use a Hauppauge HVR 4000 and do find all HD channels at Astra 19.2.
Important to know is that the HD channels are not included in the "Astra 1C/1E/1F/1G/1H/2C (19,2°E)" settings.
You have to enable a second lnb and use the second Astra 19.2 entry (IIRC the name was someting with "hd" ... its the next in the list)

yes, of course.

Have you seen my first post ? It is the HD-Channellist and I do find all the other HD-Channels without Premiere HD

That means you have Discovery HD, ProSieben HD, Sat.1 HD and Anixe HD?
Most of them are on the same transponder... so that is really ... eh ... special

Use the ViewModeSwitcher Plugin and everything is working automatically. Are you able to find your home in MediaPortal? Yes you are! With the WorldMap plugin!
