I have a problem with miniguide , I think it is not a bug because haven't found any post about it.
I'm using latest tve3 and mp svns.
The epg data is not empty and the tvguide shows it, but the miniguide not, screenshots and error.log attached.

Thanks.
Dareh.

Thanks Nightmare 77.
I had not made any group.
I'll try making some groups.
Thank you very much
Dareh.

It seems the group hasn't solved the problem.
I have created a group with three channels and the miniguide continues empty.
the error.log is now smaller.

Thanks
Dareh.

Maybe it's just a local bug due to some language adaptions.
What DB engine did you choose for tve3?

One of my test machines has this problem with the following error.(tested with all last two weeks svn)

2007-05-11 13:11:02.734375 [ERROR][MPMain]: OnMessage exceptionystem.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at TvDatabase.TvBusinessLayer.GetNowAndNext()
at TvPlugin.TvMiniGuide.FillChannelList()
at TvPlugin.TvMiniGuide.OnPageLoad()
at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIWindow.OnMessage(GUIMes sage message)

I have yet to find out why or what is causing it, and what is odd is that if I uninstall MSSQL and MP (deleting any residulal data) and reinstal the problem still remains, very odd

I can confirm it for mysql
But :
instance of an object.
at TvDatabase.TvBusinessLayer.GetNowAndNext()
at TvPlugin.TvMiniGuide.FillChannelList()
at TvPlugin.TvMiniGuide.OnPageLoad()
at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIWindow.OnMessage(GUIMes sage message)
Doesn't rely to the bug reason , since that's only a side effect of this bug : trying to get programs from a null list
