EPG for analog TV in TV Server?

I have taken the release of 1.0 RC1 as the opportunity to migrate from TVE 0.2 to TVE 0.3
The Wiki documentation suggestes to me that TV Server's built-in EPG configuration is intended for use with DVB.
However, I have only analog cable available.
Is the old WebEPG compatible with TVE 0.3?
What is the best way to get guide information for TV Server, when no DVB is available?

I have set up the webepg that comes with media portal to run on my tv server.
What you need to do is:
1. copy the necessary files to your tv server (WebEPG Files - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation)
2. configure webepg to grab the correct data (MediaPortalSetup WebEPG - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation)
3. enable and configure TV server XMLTV plugin
4. create windows scheduled task for webepg to run daily (or what you like)
