My System

Default EPG Import stopped working

I've been using the same epg grabber for over a year and the import to MediaPortal have been working fine until a week ago.
I get the following error:

2008-08-14 07:38:21.781250 [XmlTvImporter]: XML tv import error loading C:\New\data\tvguide.xml err:Input string was not in a correct format.
at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal)
at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info)
at TvEngine.XMLTVImport.CorrectEpisodeNum(String episodenum)
at TvEngine.XMLTVImport.Import(String fileName, Boolean showProgress)

I attached the tvguide.xml file I tried to import.

Is the problem in the tvguide.xml or in MediaPortal?

I had the same problem i think the problem is that the xml file contains some swedish char . just run the config again or alter the config file "tv_grab_se_swedb.conf" and insert a "!" instead of the "=" where you find a chan that can have a swedish char ex goteborg.kanallokal.se.

im sure that someone have a better solution but this worked for me

I removed all the channels I didn't use in the config file and now the import works fine!
