Country: | Hi there, I have a problem with my EPG. The automatic EPG-grabber is just grabbing unimportant channels. All my main-channels (ARD, ZDF, Pro7, ...) are missing EPG data when I haven't watched TV for a while. I have set the EPG-timeout to 60min. Any Idea what I can do? |

Country: | Some more infos would be really helpfull. e.g. some log files. Have enabled all channels for grabbing? Are you using TVE3 or the builtin TVEngine? It could be that the time of 60 mins is too short.

Country: | Not exactly. It enumerates all channels to grab epg for, groups them in transponders and then takes the first tuning detail of channel, tunes to it and grabs epg for the whole transponder. So if you have 2 cards with some combined channels, there might be some problems, as perhaps the card it grabs on (DVB-T) doesn't get epg info whereas the other card (DVB-S) would get it.

what about if each channel is broadcasting only its EPG and not the whole transponder EPG ? I have data only for the first channel of each transponder in my setup. I will update to the 16643 build and provide log this evening in any case. Simone | |

Country: | If you tune to a channel it always grabs epg for the whole transponder. So if you have - channel 1 - channel 2 - channel 3 all on the same transponder it doesn't matter to which channel you tune. The epg info is not per program stream but one epg stream for the whole transponder. Please continue this thread here http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/he...2.html?t=32652 Thanks
