Country: | Hi, i've been using MP 0.2.2.0 for sometime now, and what an excellent product. I have just starting looking at TVServer, now the family want to join in the Media Portal world. I watched the install videos and beleive i have a working system, my client on a HP laptop works well, TV, movies and Music. The problem i've got is that using MP 0.2.2.0 i grabbed EPG via DVB-T and this worked great, using TVserver EPG via DVB-T doesent appear on the remote client, can anyone help. |

Country: | did you restart your computer after installing tv-server? That alone helped at my PC. And do you use exactly the same version for Mediaportal, MP TV Plugin and TV Server (the latter two come on one package)? Imo you cannot use the 0.2.2 stable and TVServer 0.3 together. I just can say that grabbing from dvb-t works with the latest svn perfectly well. Seven |

| Portal Tester | Check the Server logs. If the EPG is timmig out and not grabbing then you ned to raise the 'timeout' setting to about 15 mins in the general settings tab. If the EPG is fine on the server and only the client is affected then this could be a firewall setting or you haven't got the SQL settings corrrect, double check these. Also there are oddities with some svn releases and you can loose functionality; the latest svn i am using has the client working fine eccept it can't get the recording info. |

Country: | EPG is working fine here with TVE3 and DVB-T. Have you enabled EPG for all channels and your prefered language in the TV Server Setup? At least in the TV Server setup you should see under "Manual", that the TVE3 is grabbing EPG. AND PLEASE: Next time use the support template

Country: | Thanks for the reponses, carried out a total reinstal, using latest versions, extended EPG timeout to 15mins, nothing much seemed to change, but its picking up something now. The TV Guide itself is not populating with data, unlike MP 0.2.2.0. Select MY TV- Channel, you get correct schedule information but odd figures in % left, eg 477%. Also in MY TV sceen the scrolling information is about 6 hours in front. Anyhow a little progress but still not as operational as MP 0.2.2.0, but hey its BETA. Also i dont seem to get the Radio working, again something i use a lot with MP 0.2.2.0 |

Country: | Just to let you know, EPG via DVB-T fully working, excellent. Client TV guide fully populated with EPG info and correct times. The strange % values i was seeing are now all correct. The FIX: A little patience and a few reboots. |
