The following problems occur in my setup.

I installed the tvserver/mediaportal combination because I was unable to find all (HD)channels from my cable provider whe using just mediaportal.
In an other thread was stated that this combination should work.
I am indeed capable of finding all my channels and it looks like the TVServer is functioning properly.
In manual control I can start a recording and timeshift. And the data is saved to harddisk.
I was not able to view the files because windows mediaplayer said it missed a codec?

When I start MP the response is bad and 9 out of 10 times i have no picture/sound in My TV.
When I have a picture it looks perfectly ok also the HD channels.
Switching channels goes very slow and sometimes the system is totally unresponsive.

I tried reinstalling the complete setup but that did not solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Personally use Vista codec pack (name deceptive)

From reading your other post as well not sure whether the 7050 is powerful enough graphically wise, 7150 yes.

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.
