Default Extremely slow tv

Hi,

Switching tv on and changing channels is extremely slow (10 sec upto more than one minute). Anybody else got this? I used version 15124 of both MP-svn and TV-SERVER.
I use TT-s3200 dvbs with a z-cas cam. Will research further tonight.

Eppo

By tvserver i mean tve3. tve3 and svn are both from yesterday.
How do i set my cam to 'dynamic'?

i have a fair low signal level of 50-52% (quality 100). could that be a problem?

Hi pastimer,

yepp, could be the problem. With a lower signal it could cost more time to read the pmt.

About your Cam. To change the settings of your cam, you must use a camcontrol soft. Most bundled to your original card software.

Hi,

i've the same problem, sometimes MP even hangs up...

This is only with the TV-Server, MP without TVServer works fine, but with MP my skystar auttune crashes after ~30% ...

Is there a (smart) way to convert the TV-Server Channel-XML File so i can import it in the MP-TV?

bye

Hi Lotti99,

at TV3 there is no Channel-XML File. The Tuningdetails are saved at the database.

regards,
Erbsenkopp

PS: Look if the scanning crash always at the same transponder. Maybe it will help to delete them.

For those crashes, have you installed:

And you have a TT - S 3200 ?

I have the same problem, takes 8-10 s to change channels. I'd like to try the "Dynamic" CAM setting but i can't find any software that allows for setting this for the TT - S 3200 card.

Perhaps someone on this forum that can help with this ?

Edit: tried with the Technotrend app, got it working with the 5.0.0.2 drivers. Switching channels takes around 3 s to get the first picture, then 3s more before it starts "rolling". So around 6 seconds. Tried with two channels that aren't encrypted. Instant switching. So it's definitely something with the CAM, CI..

Edit 2: i have a Conax 4.00e CAM.

The Dynamic setting has nothing to do with the TT - S3200...
You should have had some software with the CAM where you can change the CAM settings.

With my CAM (it is a different one) its is called Common Interface and it shows as a small CI logo where I can rightclick to change CAM settings...
