fixed Failed to open database

MediaPortal Version: TVServer + Client (last SVN)

Last SVN
When I start tvserver, after write password and the ask "Initialize ......?" display the message : "Failed to open database"
I´ve unistall and clean install 2 o 3 times and always the same.

Please help

Hi defcon5

I´ve got the same problem with the connecting if my client pc

In the server management i saw that the sqldatabase is running and starts automatic, but the sqlbrowser dosnt.

So i chance the browser to start automatik and start him for the first time manual - and now, no problems anymore

sorry, you wrote "Failed to open" - in my case was "Failed to connect"

Did you delete the .mdf AND .ldf files of the TVLibrary after uninstall ?

Problem fixed
For anybody with same problem this files are inside DATA folder in c:\program files\Miicrosoftsql\....\DATA
