Default FireDTV - Finding Channels

When scanning for channels using an updated and correct transponder list I can only find a limited ammount of channels.

The channels found are the ones from the mux last watched in FireDTV Viewer.

I can add all channel to TV-Server first watching them in FireDTV Viewer - how ever I can only watch the channels from the last channel in the mux watched in FireDTV.

1. Seaching for channels in TV-Server Config - Only channel in mux last watched in FireDTV found.
2. Rinse and repeat above till all channels from all muxs are added.
3. Open MP, only channels from mux last viewed in FireDTV Viewer can been seen.

I use TV-Server in one seat config.

TV-Server Version: svn-05-09-2008--19-58-Rev19069

Zinjor,

in your log there is the following error:

Code:
2008-05-11 22:58:46.452570 [ERROR][10]: DVBGraphBDA:Failed to connect mpeg2 demultiplexer->TIF
but unfortunately I don't know how to help you solve it

Cheers Simone for looking through the log file.

Did a clean install of Vista etc.

It now works.

Hi Zinjor,

I do have exactly the same issue as you've had.
I own also FireDTV DVB-C and 4.5N

Is there no other solutions that re-installing VISTA from scratch? It's an huge amount of work

Yes it quite a bit of work.

Try to uninstall the drivers for FireDTV, and a complete reinstall of MP.

You could also try to see if one of the new night builds could sort it out.

Wish you the best of luck with it - at least it can work.

Hello, has this been identified as a bug ?

Only the channels belonging to the transponder that has been last viewed into DVBViewer or FireDTV viewer are found by the MP scanner.

Finally, I decided like Zinjor, to re-install everything from scratch (Vista, MP, ...) ... and this problem was solved.
