Smile hauppauge nova t 500 not detected

Hi, I wondered if anybody could help me. I bought a nova t500 card so that i could watch tv on my computer. I have installed the latest drivers from the happauge website, but after installing mediaportal, when setting it up it doesnt even detect the tv card. tried a couple of times so am sure i did it right but now have no idea what to try next. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help.

Default

It is probably the newer TD-500 model. Do a search on this for an updated config file that allows it to be recognised.
